Warranty Policy

We stand behind our workmanship. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to file a claim. Core Promise:

If your issue is caused by a verified defect in materials/workmanship or a verified build/design error by LT Audio Enclosures, we will repair, replace, or refund at no cost to you (including reasonable shipping when required). This “defect/no-cost repair” model is consistent with how reputable audio brands handle workmanship defects.

1) Warranty Coverage by Product Category

A) Custom-Built Enclosures (Made-to-Order)

Coverage: 1-Year Limited Workmanship & Structural Warranty

Covers verified defects such as:

  • Joint separation caused by workmanship

  • Loose internal bracing caused by workmanship

  • Air leaks caused by workmanship

  • Terminal cup/terminal mounting defects caused by workmanship

  • Structural failures under normal automotive use (not abuse)

Fitment Support / Build Accuracy

If we designed the enclosure based on accurate customer specs and the enclosure does not fit due to our build/design error, we will correct it. Correction may include:

  • Rebuild / modification

  • Replacement

  • Refund (if correction is not feasible)

B) Premade Vehicle-Specific Enclosures (In-Stock / Listing-Based)

Coverage: 1-Year Limited Workmanship & Structural Warranty

Covers defects in materials/workmanship under normal use.

C) Subwoofers & Audio Equipment

Subwoofers and equipment may be covered by:

  • Manufacturer warranty (varies by brand/model)

  • Our assistance to help you submit the claim properly

Important: Warranty approval for manufacturer items is determined by the manufacturer after inspection/testing.


2) What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

Not covered (common exclusions in car-audio/ecommerce):

  • Water damage, moisture exposure, mold

  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, carpet scuffs, finish wear, normal aging)

  • Damage from accidents, drops, impact, or abuse

  • Damage caused by overpowering, clipping, improper gain settings, or poor tuning

  • Damage caused by improper installation, loose mounting, or unsafe mounting

  • Modifications after delivery (cutting, drilling, sanding, repainting, adding hardware, altering ports)

  • Fitment problems caused by incorrect customer measurements or inaccurate vehicle/subwoofer info

  • Items that have been used in unsafe applications (loose cargo, unsecured mounting, etc.)


3) Warranty Claim Requirements

To start a claim, you must provide:

  • Order number and purchaser name

  • Description of the problem (when it started, what you notice)

  • Photos/videos clearly showing the issue

  • Installation details (vehicle, subwoofer model, amplifier, enclosure mounting method)

We may ask for additional photos/measurements to diagnose quickly.


4) Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact us with the required information

  2. We review your claim and may request additional details

  3. If needed, we issue a return authorization (RMA) and instructions

  4. Product may be inspected upon return

  5. If covered, we repair/replace/refund at no cost

  6. If not covered, we can provide repair options (paid) if feasible

No unauthorized returns: Items shipped without authorization may be refused.


5) Shipping for Warranty Claims

  • If the claim is a verified defect or our error: we cover reasonable shipping as needed

  • If the claim is not warranty-covered: customer is responsible for shipping and any repair cost


6) Warranty Limits

  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser (non-transferable)

  • Warranty remedies are at our discretion: repair, replacement, or refund

  • Refunds are limited to the purchase price (excluding third-party fees when applicable)
